About

Dr. Kevin Hartung, Chiropractor in Robinson Township

Chiropractor in Robinson Township

Chiropractic Success

After an ATV accident at age twelve left Dr. Hartung unable to play sports, ride four-wheelers or do anything more strenuous than video games, he was frustrated that none of the doctors he saw could help. His youth wrestling coach was a chiropractor and encouraged him to try chiropractic, so finally his parents took him. The chiropractor put him on a treatment plan that completely took care of the problem, and Dr. Hartung went on to play sports, including wrestling and football, throughout high school and college.

When he moved for college, he stopped seeing his chiropractor. After some time, he realized he was having symptoms. When he resumed chiropractic care, he got better again—and that’s when he decided to become a chiropractor.

Education and History

Dr. Hartung received a degree in biology from Gannon University in Erie, PA. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2012. There, he served as a clinical teaching assistant. He practiced in Iowa before returning home to open Family Chiropractic Center in 2014.

Gaining Empathy

Over his decade in practice, Dr. Hartung’s passion for helping patients improve their mobility has only grown. As he gets older, he’s experienced many of the same common injuries that his patients face, and he can empathize with the frustration of back pain that causes other issues like insomnia, or being unable to exercise. He’s more aware than ever of the need for preventative care and taking care of the body in a proactive way, to ensure the long-term ability to enjoy all that life has to offer.

Away from Work

Dr. Hartung spends his time focused on his young family. He has been married to high school sweetheart Alyssa since 2012. They have three children, Quinn, Eva, and Dane. He enjoys time outdoors and tinkering around the house. He is a native of Beaver County and resides there now.

Dr. Sean Peters, Chiropractor in Robinson Township

Dr. Sean Peters

Chiropractor in Robinson Township

Introduction to Chiropractic

Dr. Peters first became interested in chiropractic care during his undergraduate studies at Penn State University. He was pursuing his bachelor’s degree in athletic training and as a part of the curriculum, he would work with a different Penn State athletics team each semester. He gained experience working with NCAA Division I Track and Field, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Basketball, Men’s Ice Hockey, and Women’s Volleyball, as well as High School Football. While working with athletes of different sports, he was able to see a wide range of sports specific injuries and conditions and learned how to effectively diagnose and treat them. What Dr. Peters came to realize that he enjoyed the most about this experience, however, was the hands-on treatment skills and techniques often used to help treat injured athletes. In many cases, that included chiropractic care and Dr. Peters was able to see first-hand the benefits that it provided, not only for the treatment and recovery from athletic injuries, but also for peak performance and injury prevention as well. After graduating, Dr. Peters made it his mission to become a chiropractor and take all his experience and training into helping, not just athletes, but people of all ages and physical ability, to experience the benefits of chiropractic care.

Education and History

Dr. Peters received his degree in athletic training from Penn State University in 2013. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL in 2016. As a Pittsburgh native, he then decided to return home to begin his career and since then, has enjoyed almost a decade in practice.

Away from Work

Depending on the time of year, Dr. Peters loves to spend his free time out on the golf course or ski slopes, but he also enjoys relaxing and spending quality time with his friends and family just as much. He married his wife Jessica in 2024, and together they enjoy learning how to tackle DIY projects around the house or finding the next great show or movie to watch together.
